Mural is hiring a Social Media Manager to own and advance our social media presence. You will be the guardian of the brand's voice and tone, crafting compelling narratives and visuals for a B2B audience. Your work will involve developing and executing social strategy, managing the content calendar, analyzing performance, and optimizing to drive engagement and leads.
What You'll Do
- Produce, curate, and oversee the social media distribution of all published content (images, videos, blogs, articles, audio).
- Own and manage the end-to-end social media content calendar, from ideation and planning to scheduling and publishing across all platforms.
- Use AI-powered tools and platforms to brainstorm, create, and optimize content quickly and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media communications.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users, while cultivating marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and traffic to the company website.
- Analyze social media data and metrics, reporting on performance and deriving actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Leverage Hootsuite to develop a pipeline of shareable owned and third-party content for employee promotion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure cohesive messaging and timely delivery.
- Collaborate directly with the leadership team to develop provoking social media content that drives leads.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in social media management.
- Strong track record of growing social channels, increasing engagement, and executing impactful social campaigns.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive social strategies that support business goals.
- Extensive experience in content planning, creation, and curation across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube.
- Proven ability to deliver compelling multi-format content (copy, graphics, video, live streams) tailored to a B2B audience.
- Proficiency in using social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, native platform analytics).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating success in building brand voice and tone, crafting narratives, and establishing thought leadership.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, communications, design, product, customer success).
- Advanced organizational and project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Clear, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong understanding of grammar, style, and visual consistency.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably within B2B SaaS, technology, or PLG-focused organizations.
- Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion tactics, including campaign setup, audience targeting, performance tracking, and budget management.
