Ruby Labs is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead the organic growth of all social media channels across our brands. You will own the strategy and execution on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging channels to grow our follower base, drive engagement, and convert audiences into product sign-ups.
What You'll Do
- Lead the organic social media strategy across multiple Ruby Labs brands and platforms, with a direct focus on driving organic growth and product trials.
- Conceptualise and launch viral content campaigns, including giveaways, challenges, collaborations, and community-driven initiatives.
- Create and manage monthly content calendars for each brand, ensuring strategic alignment, platform-specific optimisation, and timely delivery.
- Grow our follower base and engagement while improving social media’s contribution to total product sign-ups and trials.
- Regularly analyse performance and make data-informed decisions to improve results.
- Work closely with designers to guide content production and ensure the highest quality output aligned with each platform's best practices.
- Track and report on key metrics weekly and monthly. Use data to inform future content and optimize performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest platform trends, viral formats, and algorithm changes. Be proactive in suggesting new ideas and testing new platforms or features.
- Collaborate with product teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across channels.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms with a proven track record of organic growth and engagement.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat – their audiences, formats, algorithms, and growth strategies.
- Strong ideation skills. Must be a content and campaign brainstormer who knows how to turn ideas into viral content.
- Experience managing content calendars, posting schedules, engagement workflows, and reporting systems.
- Ability to measure performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize content based on insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and comfortable taking full responsibility for the performance and direction of our social channels.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with subscription-based or digital consumer products.
- Experience growing accounts from zero to significant following.
- Strong understanding of content virality and shareability mechanics.
- Bonus points for strong visual storytelling and short-form video content experience.
