Remote (Global) Employment

Cobot is hiring a Social Media Intern

About the Role

Cobot is looking for a Social Media Intern to help grow and elevate our company and executive social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube. You will collaborate with the Head of Communications and cross-functional teams to drive visibility, engagement, and brand affinity through strategic content development.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct a social media review and audit to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities on each platform.
  • Maintain organized, forward-looking content calendars for each platform, ensuring a consistent flow of compelling content aligned with key industry topics, events, and trends.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to shape weekly content, including brainstorming post ideas, drafting copy or briefs, and coordinating with designers on visuals.
  • Identify growth and engagement tactics suited to our professional and technical audience, such as audience targeting and newsletter development.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics (follower growth, impressions, engagement rates) and prepare periodic reports to assess performance and adjust strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 prior internships (or equivalent experience) in social media, marketing, or PR, including agency, in-house, internal comms teams, or university clubs.
  • Experience planning and executing LinkedIn strategies, with working knowledge of Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
  • Experience contributing to content calendars and coordinating editorial timelines.
  • Excellent writing skills for short-form, high-engagement social copy.
  • A strategic thinker that stays up to date on social media trends, emerging content formats, and tech industry news.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and creative environment.
  • Available for the full 6-month duration, part-time or full-time.

Nice to Have

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, digital media, or marketing.
  • Experience with social media planning and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Notion, Airtable). Familiarity with LinkedIn native tools and tracking.
  • Academic background or hands-on project experience in communications, journalism, digital media, or marketing.
  • Knowledge of or enthusiasm for robotics, AI, or technical domains, especially if you’ve crafted content for a technical or professional audience.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with the Head of Communications and cross-functional teams.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $19-$22 an hour
