Cobot is looking for a Social Media Intern to help grow and elevate our company and executive social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube. You will collaborate with the Head of Communications and cross-functional teams to drive visibility, engagement, and brand affinity through strategic content development.
What You'll Do
- Conduct a social media review and audit to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities on each platform.
- Maintain organized, forward-looking content calendars for each platform, ensuring a consistent flow of compelling content aligned with key industry topics, events, and trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams to shape weekly content, including brainstorming post ideas, drafting copy or briefs, and coordinating with designers on visuals.
- Identify growth and engagement tactics suited to our professional and technical audience, such as audience targeting and newsletter development.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics (follower growth, impressions, engagement rates) and prepare periodic reports to assess performance and adjust strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 prior internships (or equivalent experience) in social media, marketing, or PR, including agency, in-house, internal comms teams, or university clubs.
- Experience planning and executing LinkedIn strategies, with working knowledge of Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Experience contributing to content calendars and coordinating editorial timelines.
- Excellent writing skills for short-form, high-engagement social copy.
- A strategic thinker that stays up to date on social media trends, emerging content formats, and tech industry news.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and creative environment.
- Available for the full 6-month duration, part-time or full-time.
Nice to Have
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, digital media, or marketing.
- Experience with social media planning and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Notion, Airtable). Familiarity with LinkedIn native tools and tracking.
- Academic background or hands-on project experience in communications, journalism, digital media, or marketing.
- Knowledge of or enthusiasm for robotics, AI, or technical domains, especially if you’ve crafted content for a technical or professional audience.
