Magnet Media, Inc. is looking for a Social Content Producer in a part-time, project-based capacity. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of content for Magnet Originals' existing channels and developing plans for new ones, focusing on the core areas of Professional Women’s Sports, Music, and Founder-Led Business.
What You'll Do
- Write concise, scroll-stopping social copy designed to convert attention into action.
- Shoot, edit, and optimize video content for LinkedIn, YouTube deep-dives, and Instagram Reels.
- Create graphics for LinkedIn carousels, Instagram feed posts, and YouTube thumbnails.
- Schedule posts across platforms, maintain an editorial calendar, and track performance metrics.
- Implement SEO best practices, A/B test thumbnails and headlines, and adjust strategy based on analytics.
- Maintain an organized library of footage, photos, and graphics for easy repurposing.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to translate business insights into engaging visual narratives.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
- Strong Canva and/or Figma skills for creating social graphics.
- Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube best practices and algorithms.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years in social media content production, ideally in entertainment, media, or the creator economy.
- A portfolio showing range across YouTube videos, Instagram content, and LinkedIn posting.
- Experience working with founders or executives and an interest in our core content areas.
- Familiarity with AI editing tools like Descript and Runway.
- Familiarity with podcast or documentary production workflows.
