EY is hiring a Snowflake Architect Manager within our Global Delivery Services (GDS) Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will apply your deep expertise to help clients tackle complex business problems using data and technology, focusing on architecting and leading the delivery of solutions on the Snowflake platform.
What You'll Do
- Configure Snowflake security integration services like OAuth and SAML.
- Configure Snowflake API, Storage, and Notification integration services.
- Manage Snowflake RBAC, user, and role management.
- Configure Dynamic Masking Policies and Tag-Based Masking Policies.
- Create and manage databases, schemas, and Snowflake warehouses.
- Migrate SQL queries/DDLs from Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Cassandra to Snowflake SQL.
- Automate file loading from AWS S3/Azure Blob using Snowpipe and Snowflake ingestion best practices.
- Transform semi-structured data using Snowflake Stored Procedures.
- Load structured and semi-structured data into Snowflake from AWS S3/Azure Blob.
- Develop pipelines using a metadata-driven framework.
- Perform database design and data modeling using the Erwin tool.
- Implement data validation, error handling, auditing, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Optimize Snowflake performance for efficient querying and storage.
- Generate reports (CSV, JSON, XML) using Snowflake tasks and streams and ETL tools.
- Integrate and schedule end-to-end data ingestion, profiling, and transformation flows in Snowflake.
- Utilize Snowflake Data Sharing (inbound and outbound).
- Create and manage External Tables, Iceberg Tables, Dynamic Tables, UDFs, UDTFs, and Procedures.
- Implement functionality for ServiceNow request generation in failure cases.
- Use an issue-based approach to deliver growth, market, and portfolio strategy engagements for corporates.
- Produce high-quality reports, papers, and presentations.
- Execute and manage research and analysis of companies and markets.
- Handle customers in any situations.
What We're Looking For
- A BE/BTech/MCA degree with 10+ years of IT development experience.
- 10+ years with strong architect expertise into Cloud Data Engineering Platforms and delivery leadership.
- Expertise in designing, architecting, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions on Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with Data Governance/Catalogue Tools such as EDC, IBM IGC, ASG, Alation, or TMM.
- Working knowledge of Data Governance Framework and compliance regulations such as BCBS, GDPR, HIPPA, or ACCORD.
- Experience in producing Data Lineage Reports, Data Dictionaries, Business Glossary and Identifying the KBEs and CDE through Data Analysis.
- 5+ years of experience with data lineage, data governance, data modelling, and data integration solutions.
- Strong exposure to real-time data processing.
