AnyVan is looking for a Sénior Ejecutivo de Logística to join our Assignments team. You’ll be at the center of the action, planning and negotiating with Transport Providers (TPs) to ensure each job is covered efficiently and cost-effectively. Your mission is to assign the right TP to the right job, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and compliance with our processes.
What You'll Do
- Proactively contact Transport Providers (TPs), primarily by phone, fostering strong relationships and encouraging them to accept jobs at competitive rates.
- Stay on top of your TP network: know their availability, vehicles, location, jobs they can cover, rates, and margins.
- Monitor and manage routes to ensure everything goes as planned.
- Intervene when unforeseen events occur, resolving issues quickly through close collaboration with TPs and customers.
- Perform key administrative tasks, such as verifying proof of delivery and maintaining communication with customers.
- Be responsible for the assignment process: manage pipelines and assign jobs to TPs to keep them engaged and motivated.
- Achieve your objectives, not only in numerical results but also in the quality of your work.
- Establish strong relationships with other AnyVan teams to ensure smooth transitions and a positive experience for our collaborators.
- Be the team's go-to person to boost morale and maintain a positive work culture by leading team meetings effectively.
- Support tracking of team attendance, punctuality, schedule compliance, and overtime, accurately recording them in reports.
- Be a subject matter expert and the person to go to for support on more complex issues.
- Provide a variety of accurate reports and analysis to managers.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
- Experience in contact centers, ideally in sales or goal-oriented roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners.
- Comfort working with and consistently achieving objectives.
- Passion for delivering an exceptional experience to all parties involved.
- Solid knowledge of Excel and ability to create accurate and useful reports.
- Self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and resilience: ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changes.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships and negotiate with TPs in a mutually beneficial way.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude and proven experience working quickly and efficiently.
- Availability to work rotating shifts of 3:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., including weekends.

Nice to Have
- Previous experience in the transport/logistics sector, especially in driver management.
- Knowledge of the transport sector (HGV vehicle types, subcontracted carriers, UK road networks).

You’ll be part of the Assignments team, reporting to a Team Leader, within a talented team of approximately 300 AnyVanners.

This is an onsite position based in either London or Cape Town.
