The Site Reliability Engineer will contribute to the stability, security, and modernization of essential IT systems across hybrid and cloud platforms. This role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and resilient system design to support a large-scale energy ecosystem transformation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems using Site Reliability Engineering and automation practices
- Design and maintain robust infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
- Build and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to enable fast incident detection and response
- Operate and optimize CI/CD pipelines with safe deployment methods such as canary and blue-green releases
- Support disaster recovery planning and help improve recovery time and point objectives
- Implement security controls, system hardening, and secret management in alignment with compliance standards
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability
- Maintain technical documentation, support incident reviews, and guide team members to improve operational practices
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations
- Solid experience with Linux and Windows system administration, networking, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Proven knowledge of observability practices including monitoring, tracing, and logging for service reliability
- Experience supporting production systems requiring 99.9% or higher uptime
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or NIS2 Directive
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes
- Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
- Self-driven attitude with a focus on ownership, continuous improvement, and learning
