As a Software Engineer in the Observability team at Scaleway, you will develop and maintain observability stacks for internal and external clients, ensuring robust monitoring solutions and operational excellence across infrastructure. You will contribute to the evolution of deployment architectures and simplify the product stack for high resilience.
What You'll Do
- Develop backend services using Go
- Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Maintain & scale LGTM stack for customers from metrics to traces
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines on GitLab
- Deploy solutions across Availability Zones (AZ)
- Participate in 'Doctoring' rotations to ensure operational maintenance (MRO) of platforms
- Handle support escalations
- Monitor system performance and database impacts during deployments (staging to production)
- Collaborate with the team in daily meetings to co-construct technical solutions
- Work on transverse products, interacting with numerous client teams while maintaining autonomy on the infra
What We're Looking For
- Kubernetes (K8S): Crucial knowledge for this role
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Go: Strong dev skill in Go or other high level language
- Monitoring & CI/CD: Proficiency with Grafana, ArgoCD, and GitLab
- Production Context: Experience working in IT production environments (3 to 5 years of experience)
