Leidos is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for the AGO GEO SPACES program, delivering advanced national security technology solutions in a secure, high-compliance environment. You will be responsible for the availability, performance, capacity, and reliability of critical production systems across a large-scale, fault-tolerant infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Drive operational stability by applying software engineering practices to infrastructure and operations challenges.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 incident response, ensuring fast recovery, thorough RCA, and preventative measures.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems, maintaining deep visibility into performance and tracking SLOs and SLIs.
- Manage and provision infrastructure using IaC practices, applying configuration management tools and scripting for consistency.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes, working closely with development teams to enable smooth, reliable deployments.
What We're Looking For
- Australian Citizen.
- Active TSPV security clearance.
- Ability to be successful for a DISA/OSA.
- Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Strong background in Linux/UNIX administration.
- Hands-on experience using IaC and configuration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with virtualised (VMware) or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working with developers through CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

- Comfortable creating meaningful automation using Python, Go, or Bash.
