Pythian is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our client-facing infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture and performance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar DevOps role.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and configuration management.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud service providers.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. You will work asynchronously and collaboratively with a distributed team.
