Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Site Performance Manager to provide critical product support for our Mining Products at customer sites. You'll work directly with customers and dealers, partnering to ensure fleets meet or exceed performance targets.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and manage product support and equipment management processes at mine sites to optimize fleet Physical Availability.
- Manage Caterpillar's business risk related to after-sale commercial and performance support.
- Co-manage mine site focus and support with the Commercial Manager and Product Support Manager.
- Serve a heavy coordination role and influence teams outside your direct business unit or reporting structure.
What We're Looking For
- Superior interpersonal, relationship building, and influencing skills.
- Essential Mining Industry experience.
- Previous field rep experience, or significant dealer and customer support activities within Continuous Improvement, service, or commercial areas.
- Broad mining industry knowledge and a strong understanding of dealer operations.
- A college or university degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to conduct regular mine site visits and travel up to 50%.
Nice to Have
- Direct mining site experience is highly desirable.
- Thorough technical knowledge of Caterpillar products, applications, equipment management, and product problem management.
- Field experience and Project Management experience will be highly regarded.
