The Data & AI Account Executive will drive new business growth for Sikich's Data and AI practice, focusing on identifying new clients, building relationships, and closing deals. Sikich is a leading professional services firm where innovation, integrity, and collaboration fuel impactful client solutions.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close, including discovery meetings, solution positioning, and coordinating internal resources to advance and win opportunities.
- Earn long-term client relationships by winning the first deal — understand prospect challenges deeply enough to position Sikich's Data and AI capabilities as the obvious solution.
- Execute against a defined ICP and strategic GTM plan, identifying the highest-probability targets and pursuing them with discipline and urgency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging services in Data and AI to position Sikich as a thought leader.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years of experience in sales or business development (tech or consulting preferred), with demonstrated success in a new logo or outbound-focused role.
- Strong networking abilities with a proactive “hunter” mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of Data and AI concepts (training will be provided).
- Ambitious self-starter eager to take ownership of business development efforts.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: Midpoint of $140,000 (final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location).
