About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between clients and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting implementation of Instec-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to identify business requirements and pain points
- Document functional and technical specifications for system implementations
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to ensure solution alignment
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories
- Support configuration and testing of Instec software modules
- Validate system outputs against defined business rules and requirements
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and gather stakeholder feedback
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Instec platform capabilities
- Identify gaps in requirements and propose practical resolutions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
- Assist in training end users on new processes and tools
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones
- Ensure compliance with client-specific and industry standards
- Manage change requests and update documentation accordingly
- Support data migration planning and validation activities
- Conduct gap analysis between client needs and system functionality
- Contribute to the development of best practices for implementation projects
- Participate in post-implementation reviews and support transition to operations
Nice to Have
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) credential
- Experience in insurance or financial services industry
- Prior work with large-scale ERP or policy administration systems
- Familiarity with Instec configuration and data structures
- Background in regulatory compliance for financial systems
- Exposure to data analytics or reporting tools
- Project management certification such as PMP
- Knowledge of API integrations and middleware platforms
- Experience with user interface design principles
- Training or facilitation experience in corporate settings
