Sikich is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive digital modernization for our Insurtech clients. You will focus primarily on the Sure Commercial (Instec) policy administration system, acting as a key consultant and advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Develop, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the Sure Commercial policy administration system.
- Act as a customer advisor and consultant, providing prescriptive recommendations and industry best practices.
- Participate in estimation activities, including discovery, scope definition, and sizing.
- Plan, perform, and support unit and QA testing efforts, including test script planning, documentation, and execution.
- Lead and participate in system design, demonstration, and configuration activities.
- Aide in reinforcing Business Analysis methodologies across the team.
- Stay current on industry and job-related trends and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Insurance Domain knowledge, with a preference for experience in MGA markets, ISO-based Commercial Lines, and NCCI Worker’s Compensation products.
- Hands-on experience with Sure Commercial (Instec Policy).
- BA/BS Degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience capturing key functional requirements for client implementations of Property & Casualty software for the Commercial Insurance markets (admitted and non-admitted).
Nice to Have
- Related professional certifications.
- Experience with Acord standards.
- Experience with ISO, NCCI, or other insurance rating bureaus.
