About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between clients and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting implementation of Instec-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client discovery sessions to identify business requirements and pain points
  • Document functional and technical specifications for system implementations
  • Collaborate with project managers and developers to ensure solution alignment
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories
  • Support configuration and testing of Instec software modules
  • Validate system outputs against defined business rules and requirements
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and gather stakeholder feedback
  • Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Instec platform capabilities
  • Identify gaps in requirements and propose practical resolutions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Assist in training end users on new processes and tools
  • Monitor project progress and report on key milestones
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific and industry standards
  • Manage change requests and update documentation accordingly
  • Support data migration planning and validation activities
  • Conduct gap analysis between client needs and system functionality
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for implementation projects
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews and support transition to operations

Nice to Have

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) credential
  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry
  • Prior work with large-scale ERP or policy administration systems
  • Familiarity with Instec configuration and data structures
  • Background in regulatory compliance for financial systems
  • Exposure to data analytics or reporting tools
  • Project management certification such as PMP
  • Knowledge of API integrations and middleware platforms
  • Experience with user interface design principles
  • Training or facilitation experience in corporate settings
