What You'll Do
In this role, you'll support international brokers and insurance providers by managing key aspects of commercial underwriting for the UK and Australian markets. You'll handle new business submissions, renewals, policy adjustments, and endorsements while ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
You'll evaluate client portfolios to determine appropriate risk coverage and pricing, helping to strengthen retention and reduce policy cancellations. Clear communication with brokers, clients, and internal teams is essential to maintain service quality and support long-term growth.
Duties include reviewing and processing quotations, advising on suitable options, and applying premium changes. You'll keep detailed digital records to meet audit and regulatory standards and assist with policy administration tasks such as invoicing and documentation updates.
Requirements
- Matric certificate (mandatory)
- FAIS compliance
- At least two years of experience in Short-Term Insurance with a focus on commercial underwriting
- Proven ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to work during UK and Australian business hours
- Reliable home office setup with fibre internet (minimum 50/50 Mbps; 100/100 Mbps recommended)
- Must be a South African citizen currently living in South Africa

- A relevant degree or diploma in insurance, risk, or a related field is beneficial
