Cloud9 Esports is looking for a contractor Short Form Content Producer/Editor to scale our short-form content plan. In this role, you'll create engaging gaming and esports videos for social media, collaborating closely with our Content team.
What You'll Do
- Optimize and edit short-form content for different platforms, adhering to platform-specific guidelines.
- Conceptualize, edit, and produce short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
- Maintain a quick turnaround on deliverables without sacrificing quality and best practices.
- Deliver videos by deadline and incorporate feedback for revisions.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work flexible hours to align with Pacific Time deadlines.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- 1+ years of experience in content production, with a focus on short-form content for social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of content production for social media.
- Familiarity and passion for gaming and esports.
- Must submit a short-form content portfolio featuring gaming/esports work.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Ability to critically think on the fly and adjust behavior and solutions to the situation.
- Ability to apply intelligence to practical, real-world scenarios.
- Strong active listening skills with an emphasis on understanding.
- High growth-oriented mindset with a strong internal need for achievement.
- Ability to work effectively and supportively with teammates, prioritizing team/organizational needs.
