Overview We are searching for an exceptional Shopify SEO Specialist II to spearhead technical and on-page SEO strategies for our international apparel digital platforms. This position focuses on elevating organic performance through sophisticated technical evaluations, strategic keyword approaches, content enhancement, and multi-market SEO implementation. The perfect candidate demonstrates analytical thinking, meticulous precision, and proven expertise managing SEO for Shopify-powered ecommerce brands. You will collaborate intimately with merchandising, content, and development teams to guarantee superior SEO, GEO/AEO, and mobile-prioritized practices across diverse markets. Key Responsibilities • Execute comprehensive technical SEO evaluations, encompassing website crawlability, indexation, structural design, loading speed, mobile functionality, and redirection mapping. • Leverage Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics (GA4) to assess site health, keyword performance, organic traffic, and conversion dynamics. • Conduct targeted keyword research emphasizing apparel segments, seasonal purchasing patterns, and localized search trends across international territories. • Refine product detail pages (PDPs), category/collection pages (PLPs), and landing pages to enhance visibility, relevance, and conversion potential. • Advance technical SEO initiatives including structured data integration (product, reviews, pricing, availability), crawl optimization, and Core Web Vitals enhancements. • Monitor international domain performance, track rankings, and analyze competitive SEO strategies within global apparel markets. • Partner with merchandising, development, and content teams to seamlessly integrate SEO and GEO/AEO best practices into site updates and campaigns. • Develop and optimize content formats designed for efficient consumption by search engines, language models, and generative AI systems. • Construct and maintain SEO dashboards and reporting segmented by market, tracking organic traffic, keyword trends, conversions, and revenue impact. • Deliver actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and clear next steps to stakeholders. • Remain current on SEO, GEO/AEO, and ecommerce best practices, particularly related to fashion, seasonality, mobile-first trends, and emerging search behaviors. Requirements 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, including direct engagement with Shopify storefronts. Robust technical SEO expertise, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals. Proficient in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics (GA4). Preferred background in ecommerce and apparel/fashion SEO across multiple markets. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and familiarity with Shopify themes, templates, and development workflows. Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and capability to articulate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
