Axfood, one of Sweden's leading grocery retailers, is looking for a Shop Assistant to join the team at Snabbgross in Helsingborg. This is a summer substitute position of 40 hours per week, where you'll handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic retail environment focused on good food at good prices.
What You'll Do
- Perform cashier work and handle customer orders.
- Pick goods for in-store customers and e-commerce orders.
- Create attractive product displays and merchandising.
- Actively engage with customers to drive profitable sales.
- Participate in the store's improvement areas and development.
- Ensure a positive customer experience and a good work environment.
- Perform physically demanding work, which may involve heavy lifting.
What We're Looking For
- A high school education.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- A genuine interest in food.
- Enjoy working with customers and sales.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the service industry, preferably retail or food.
- Knowledge of other languages.
