SGS seeks a Business Development Manager, M&A to drive external growth for our Business Assurance line in the North American market. In this role, you will identify strategic acquisition opportunities and support the entire deal process, working closely with senior leadership.
What You'll Do
- Identify possible acquisition targets based on specific business unit strategy.
- Make initial contact with targets to introduce the possibility of an acquisition.
- Lead preparation of the initial presentation for the acquisition proposal.
- Produce presentations, spreadsheets, information memoranda, and other supporting materials.
- At all times, comply with the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in business development and/or sales.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Technical and industry knowledge.
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Advanced mathematical skills.
- Advanced negotiation skills.
- Microsoft Office 365 – Intermediate level skills required.
- Commitment to attend data integrity training and complete all required training promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance and organization of strategy and business resources.
- Responsible for timely response to all communications.
- Operate within the guiding principles of the company and maintain a good understanding of SGS, its services, competitors, and the industry.

- Compensation: USD 120,000 - USD 160,000 yearly
