Accenture Federal Services is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to build and deliver applications for federal clients. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing ServiceNow components, analyzing user stories and requirements, participating in agile delivery, supporting testing and deployment, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a technical lead for teams and projects, including conducting code reviews, providing feedback, defining branch strategy and standards, coaching developers, and driving DevSecOps practices.
- Work on a cross-functional agile team to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements.
- Develop customized solutions and applications within the ServiceNow platform.
- Design, code, and implement ServiceNow applications and components.
- Write unit tests and ensure all work meets acceptance criteria.
- Establish development timelines and goals.
- Test application performance, stability, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide technical training.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of ServiceNow applications.
What We're Looking For
- ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Certified Application Developer certification.
- ICAgile or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- 2+ ServiceNow Implementation Specialist and/or Application Developer certifications.
- 6+ years of experience as a developer using object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
- 5+ years developing on RDBMS platforms like Oracle, SQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
- 5+ years of data modeling experience including custom objects, stored procedures, optimized queries, views, and ETL.
- 5+ years developing with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- 5+ years working with JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and APIs supporting low-code/no-code platforms.
- 3+ years deploying ServiceNow applications.
- Active secret clearance.
