Role Overview
As a Service Sales Engineer for the North Zone, you will be responsible for expanding service business opportunities through direct customer engagement across the region. Your focus will be on developing and presenting high-quality, cost-efficient solutions for transformer asset management, helping clients improve reliability and reduce lifecycle costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits throughout the North Zone to meet with clients and identify new service opportunities
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely proposals for engineering services and technical solutions
- Support the implementation and development of regional service strategies
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and reliable service delivery
- Utilize internal digital platforms to coordinate with teams and track project progress
- Collaborate with site personnel from power generation and transmission & distribution sectors
- Work alongside channel partners to extend market reach and drive revenue growth
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have 6 to 10 years of relevant experience. A proven ability to engage technical customers and deliver satisfaction is essential. You should be comfortable traveling 40–60% of the time, including to remote industrial sites. Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and applicants must currently reside in the North region. Experience working with T&D and power generation clients in after-market service environments is critical.
Preferred Background
- Prior work with similar technical service providers or product portfolios
- Established knowledge of North region’s power and T&D markets
- Track record managing partnerships or distribution channels
- History of maintaining relationships with at least 20 customers over the course of your career
- Fluency in multiple local languages
Work Environment
This is an onsite role with regular travel across North Zone locations. The position demands a flexible schedule and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs in diverse settings.
