As a Server Platform Development Manager, you will lead engineering initiatives for enterprise server and storage platforms with a focus on AI-integrated solutions. Your role is central to aligning platform development with business strategy, customer requirements, and technical innovation across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary engineering representative within core cross-functional teams, ensuring platform priorities are integrated and executed
- Coordinate development activities across diverse engineering groups to maintain alignment, efficiency, and technical coherence
- Collaborate with program management, product operations, quality assurance, supply chain, and service functions to drive end-to-end delivery
- Develop and sustain strategic relationships with vendors and external technology partners to support platform goals
- Ensure engineering milestones are met on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Drive best practices in solution design and release readiness across business units using a closed-loop feedback approach
- Apply deep technical and market understanding to inform strategic decisions and improve project outcomes
Qualifications
- 12–15 years of professional experience in engineering or technical leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and influence stakeholders
- Strong grasp of competitive dynamics and business context in enterprise hardware
- Effective negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred
