Kyndryl is seeking a Server Automation Senior Engineer to serve as a Technical Architect or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). You will be part of a team automating server operations for major enterprise clients, providing technical support, managing a team, and communicating directly with clients.
What You'll Do
- Propose, design, and implement server operation automation solutions to streamline operational processes.
- Provide technical support for system construction and operations.
- Communicate with clients for requirements gathering, improvement proposals, regular reporting, and progress management.
- Manage and mentor a team of 5 or more engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in server setup or operations (on-premises or cloud).
- Experience in creating operational designs and manuals/procedure documents.
- Leadership experience (e.g., team guidance, member management).
- Comfortable with using English (reading/writing and basic conversation).
Nice to Have
- Experience in automating server operations (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform, CI/CD tools).
- Hands-on experience working as an SRE.
- Experience in client communication/negotiation.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role. Work locations are at client sites within Tokyo’s 23 wards and the surrounding Kanto area.
