We Work Remotely is looking for an SEO Specialist for a 3-month contract to elevate our organic growth strategy and drive measurable results. You will lead technical audits, develop focused strategies for our job marketplace, and analyze performance to inform action.
What You'll Do
- Conduct a full technical audit of the website and implement key fixes for Core Web Vitals, site structure, and crawlability.
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy focused on both employers and job seekers.
- Identify and optimize for high-intent keywords related to remote work, hiring, and job search.
- Perform content audits and provide optimization guidance across blog and landing pages.
- Analyze traffic and ranking performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Create a reporting system to track progress, KPIs, and actionable next steps.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO with campaigns and content strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO strategy, on-page, technical, and content optimization.
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, site architecture, internal linking, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and translate data into actionable steps.
