Department Overview Reporting directly to the Sensor Sales division leadership, we seek independent territory managers who are self-directed. The role is remote and geographically specific to the designated territory. We are currently recruiting a Sensor Sales Specialist for our APAC region, specifically positioned in Australia. The Sensor Sales Specialist will be instrumental in supporting our Enterprise sales teams to successfully close Sensor sales through channel partners and direct end-user customers. The Sensor Sales Specialist will facilitate partnerships with Security and IT Integrators, Building Automation dealers, A&E Firms, and provide strategic support on targeted client opportunities. The Sensor Sales Specialist is accountable for achieving sales targets, maintaining profitability, acquiring new customers, and representing the comprehensive range of Sensor products and services within assigned territories. The Sensor Sales Specialist will report directly to divisional sales leadership, emphasizing autonomy and self-management in a remote, territory-specific role. Basic Requirements - Primary responsibility encompasses product evangelism, generating internal and external product awareness, and driving business growth within assigned regions - Collaborate closely with local sales teams on sensor sales opportunities - Engage with consultants to specify assigned product lines - Identify, qualify, and develop new customer relationships across partner and end-user communities - Generate and cultivate emerging sales opportunities - Conduct Proof of Concept demonstrations and product presentations - Provide comprehensive training for internal sales teams and external customers - Coordinate organizational resource involvement to meet performance objectives - Achieve assigned profitability and strategic targets - Promote company program adoption within designated regions - Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Engineering Leadership to develop market strategies - Participate in industry trade shows and customer events - Collect market insights to inform product development - Position requires substantial travel Travel Requirements 25-50% Relocation Provided None Position Type Experienced Referral Payment Plan Yes EEO Statement Our organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
