About the Role
The role involves leading the design and implementation of complex electronic systems, from concept through production, ensuring robust performance and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of analog and mixed-signal circuits
- Develop and validate schematic designs for high-speed signal integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration
- Define and execute test plans for design verification
- Support PCB layout with attention to electromagnetic compatibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues across development phases
- Create detailed design documentation and specifications
- Evaluate and select components based on performance and cost
- Drive design for manufacturability and testability
- Mentor junior engineers in best design practices
- Contribute to product scalability and reliability improvements
- Work closely with firmware and software teams on system behavior
- Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards
- Participate in design reviews and technical audits
- Optimize power efficiency in circuit design
- Integrate sensors and precision measurement components
- Apply statistical methods to design validation
- Support root cause analysis for field failures
- Stay current with emerging semiconductor technologies
- Translate system requirements into hardware specifications
