AECOM is hiring a Senior Wastewater Modeller

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain wastewater models for various projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate modeling results into project designs.
  • Conduct peer reviews of modeling work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in wastewater modeling.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex modeling issues.
  • Participate in the development of new modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and presentations.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members and clients.
  • Liaise with external consultants and vendors as needed.
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to support modeling efforts.
  • Document modeling processes and procedures for future reference.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Review and approve modeling work completed by junior team members.
  • Provide input on the selection and implementation of modeling software.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of modeling data and results.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling practices and standards.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on modeling progress.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align modeling efforts with overall project goals.

  • Experience with specific modeling software such as MIKE, InfoWorks, or similar.
