About the Role
This role involves traveling to customer locations to deploy, service, and repair mobile technical systems, ensuring optimal functionality and client satisfaction through hands-on technical support.
Responsibilities
- Install mobile service units at client locations according to technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on field equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and technical issues on mobile systems
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner during and outside standard hours
- Maintain accurate service logs and completion documentation
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
- Communicate technical issues and resolutions to clients and supervisors
- Follow safety protocols when operating in diverse field environments
- Coordinate with internal teams for parts and resource availability
- Adhere to service level agreements for response and resolution times
- Operate company vehicle for transport to and from job sites
- Manage inventory of tools and spare parts in service vehicle
- Provide on-site training to clients on equipment use and care
- Escalate complex technical problems to engineering or technical support
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations for field operations
- Complete service reports and submit them promptly after each visit
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements
- Support emergency deployments during critical service outages
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at customer sites
- Use diagnostic software and tools to assess system health
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for servicing mobile units
- Report recurring equipment failures for quality improvement
- Participate in scheduled training to stay current on technology
- Ensure all work meets quality assurance benchmarks
- Assist in the development of service procedures and checklists
