Position Overview
As a Senior Virology Care Specialist based in Columbus, you will lead strategic engagement across a diverse network of healthcare providers, including integrated delivery networks, community clinics, and health systems. Your primary focus will be advancing access to monoclonal antibody therapies for immunocompromised patients who face elevated risks from severe COVID-19. This role is ideal for a mission-driven sales professional with a strong foundation in life sciences and a commitment to ethical, compliant practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted, compliant relationships with healthcare providers across multiple specialties by understanding their clinical and operational needs
- Lead educational discussions that support informed patient care decisions, using approved resources and compliant messaging
- Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with customer priorities and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and market access, to align strategies and address customer challenges
- Identify and act on insights from customer feedback and market trends to improve service delivery
- Use data to guide customer prioritization and optimize engagement strategies across multiple channels
- Operate with accountability and urgency, ensuring administrative and compliance tasks are completed efficiently
- Represent the organization in field settings five days per week, including required travel within the territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing sales experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
- Proven ability to engage complex accounts and influence decision-making across health systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a focus on long-term relationship building
- Comfortable in fast-moving environments and committed to continuous learning and improvement
- Demonstrated integrity, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset
- Must reside within the Columbus territory and be available for regular in-person visits and overnight travel as needed
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000, complemented by an annual short-term incentive and eligibility for long-term equity awards.
