Chubb is hiring a Senior Underwriter for its Global Casualty division. In this role, you will focus on evaluating and underwriting complex, large accounts for major clients, including Fortune 100 companies, within a collaborative team environment based in New York City.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate, select, underwrite, price, quote, and maintain new and renewal business aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead retention efforts through active participation in the Chubb Stewardship process.
- Ensure strict adherence to Chubb’s standards for pricing and client service.
- Participate in product line projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee operational tasks, maintaining compliance with File Construction, Documentation, and Self-Audit requirements.
- Cultivate strategic relationships to effectively navigate client needs internally and externally.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial casualty underwriting.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities for evaluating risks and developing underwriting solutions.
- Proven sales and marketing skills with a track record of successful business development.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably with Fortune 1000 companies.
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with underwriting software tools.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $125,000 - $170,000

This is an on-site position located in New York City (NYC).
