ProfitCoach was looking for a Senior Trust Accounting Executive

ProfitCoach is hiring a Senior Trust Accounting Executive to deliver the ProfitCoach Experience to clients. This role focuses on providing quality assurance, managing client relationships, and ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient full-service accounting. You will maintain awareness of each client's unique needs and profit-growing opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and participate in new client onboardings.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings to discuss accounting and service related questions.
  • Manage client relationships, including setting and maintaining expectations.
  • Oversee issue resolution alongside Trust Department Manager.
  • Review and own financial statements, including reconciliation review and report generation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, financial diagnostics, billing, payment processing, owner statement processing, and security deposit processing.
  • Train the team on new or complex processes.
  • Monitor team performance metrics (Direct Labor Efficiency, Staff Utilization, Staff Hours Budget vs. Actual).
  • Define new processes and train the team to carry them out.
  • Ensure timely completion of all assigned client tasks.
  • Oversee inbox management, owner statements, owner distributions, entering correcting entries, posting late fees, and meeting client deadlines.
  • Approve online payables, direct ACH payments, audit packages, and weekly update emails.
  • Own client and team communication, team training and delegation, and liaison with Corporate department as needed.
  • Handle 1099s and EOY reports, high-level accounting requests, and various crosschecks.
  • Own and manage any needed adjustments in process or process improvement.
  • Regularly review client numbers and create/implement plans to keep numbers within budget.
  • Prepare and lead department-wide trainings as requested.
  • Research and test new software updates.
  • Coordinate client clean up projects and new client on-boarding processes.

  • Ability to manage client relationships and deliver the ProfitCoach experience.
  • Ability to oversee the execution of routine and non-routine services.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write, improve, and train on new Trust accounting processes.
  • Bookkeeping experience with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to define and document new processes.
  • Basic ability to read and analyze financial statements.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new cloud-based software applications.
  • Expert Proficiency with AppFolio.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with Rentvine.

Team & Environment

Works alongside the Trust Department Manager and reports to the Trust Department Manager.

  • Compensation: $65k - $75k depending on experience
