TD Bank is hiring a Senior Treasury Analyst

About the Role

TD Canada Trust is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Enterprise Capital Management team within Treasury and Balance Sheet Management. This role contributes directly to the Bank's Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and manages Economic Capital quantification methods, playing a key part in the bank's capital framework.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage domain and system knowledge to manage the issue intake process supporting production ICAAP reporting and associated change management.
  • Coordinate with model developers and actively participate in Economic Capital Models monitoring and maintenance.
  • Support to maintain ICAAP documentation.
  • Coordinate testing of change components by upstream business segments.
  • Work effectively with various stakeholders to ensure the coordination and deliverable of ICAAP items.
  • Own control and governance processes.
  • Support the ongoing review of Economic Capital measurement to enhance the robustness of internal capital assessment.
  • Maintain a good understanding of financial markets and the various products and strategies employed by the Bank.
  • Support governance and identification of risks related to ICAAP requirements.
  • Support regular and ad-hoc ICAAP reporting and requirements from regulators and senior management.

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Experience in Capital Reporting and/or Enterprise/Credit/Market Risk Management, Treasury, and/or Analytics.
  • An independent thinker with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to solve complex issues.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting concepts, accounting standards, and risk management concepts and practices.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to synthesize thoughts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with financial/regulatory reporting or capital experience.

Team & Environment

This role is part of the Enterprise Capital Management (ECM) team within Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM), reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Capital Management.

  • Compensation range: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD.
