Lead and elevate a team of travel advisors while managing end-to-end luxury travel planning for discerning clients. This senior role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with proven experience in high-end leisure travel and a strong command of booking systems like Sabre.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of travel advisors, ensuring adherence to operational standards and consistent delivery of premium service.
- Act as a primary liaison between clients, vendors, and executive leadership, managing communications with discretion and professionalism.
- Oversee every phase of the travel lifecycle—from initial inquiry and proposal development to final documentation and post-trip follow-up.
- Coordinate complex itineraries including flights, accommodations, transfers, private tours, and special requests such as dining reservations and entertainment access.
- Prepare and process invoices, vendor payments, and client billing documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Compile and verify all travel confirmations, vouchers, and advisories using Axus, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and polished trip dossiers.
- Conduct thorough quality reviews of all itineraries, confirming logistical completeness and alignment with client expectations.
- Maintain and update client profiles, preferences, and travel history within the CRM to support personalized service.
- Reconfirm travel arrangements prior to departure and manage a calendar of pre- and post-trip communications, including reminders and welcome messages.
- Stay current on global destinations, luxury offerings, and industry developments to provide informed, tailored recommendations.
- Support external agents as needed and assist with flight ticketing and travel documentation when required.
Qualifications
- TICO certification is mandatory and must be obtained within one month of hire.
- Proven proficiency with Sabre or comparable travel reservation platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and complex trips simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, professionalism, and precision.
- Highly resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while maintaining accountability.
- Deep familiarity with luxury travel standards and a genuine passion for global destinations and cultural experiences.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring staff is strongly preferred.
- Advanced competence in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital productivity tools.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, requiring at least one or two days per week in the office. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., though seasonal demand may necessitate additional availability.
