As a Scout Search Quality Rater, you’ll play a key role in refining how search engines interpret and deliver results for French-language queries. Your work will directly contribute to improving the accuracy and usefulness of online search by analyzing content relevance and user intent based on detailed project criteria.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate search engine results using your understanding of French language and cultural context
- Assign consistent ratings guided by established rules and conventions
- Work independently on a flexible schedule, meeting weekly targets at your own pace
- Conduct web research to verify content quality and relevance
- Complete required training modules and pass a quality assessment before beginning assignments
- Maintain strict confidentiality by signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement
What We’re Looking For
- Native-level proficiency in French (France) with strong familiarity with local popular culture
- Ability to read and follow instructions in English
- Residence in France with reliable internet and computer access
- Up-to-date anti-virus protection for safe browsing
- No prior or current involvement in ads quality rating programs
- Commitment to working exclusively on this search quality initiative
- Strong digital literacy and attention to detail
What to Expect
This freelance role offers ongoing work with flexible hours—minimum 10 hours per week, up to 20, depending on availability. You’ll be part of a global network of raters, supported by a responsive community team available six days a week. The role emphasizes continuous learning, clear guidelines, and independent work discipline. All tasks are conducted remotely from France, with project materials and instructions provided in English.
