What You'll Do
Manage and support indirect tax compliance activities for the Americas region in coordination with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors. Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Participate in quarterly and annual SOX compliance procedures, maintaining strong internal controls.
Support audit readiness by gathering relevant data and helping respond to indirect tax audit requests. Translate complex tax guidance into clear, actionable insights for non-tax teams, enabling informed business decisions. Stay current with evolving tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Identify opportunities to streamline tax workflows using automation and artificial intelligence. Develop and refine processes to increase accuracy, reduce manual effort, and improve turnaround time. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic, international setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of three years of relevant tax experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Demonstrated organizational ability and meticulous attention to detail
- Proven capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tax matters clearly to non-specialists
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in team-based environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
