What You'll Do
Take an active role in managing and advancing trademark and copyright litigation matters in federal courts. You’ll prepare and file pleadings, draft motions, conduct legal research, and contribute to case strategy from inception through trial. Participate in discovery processes, including managing document review and production, responding to written requests, and supporting or leading depositions.
Represent clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposition and cancellation proceedings. Engage directly with clients to provide clear, practical legal guidance aligned with their business objectives. As part of a lean, high-performing team, you’ll have early responsibility in shaping litigation outcomes and managing case workflows independently while collaborating closely with senior attorneys.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and an active license in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction
- 2–5 years of civil litigation experience at a law firm, with exposure to federal court matters
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases, conduct thorough legal analysis, and produce high-quality written work
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work autonomously while contributing to team goals
- Must be based in the continental United States
- No current or future visa sponsorship is available for this role
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience in trademark or copyright litigation is highly valued and will support immediate contribution to core practice areas.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position. Candidates must reside in the continental U.S. Attorneys in the Austin, TX area are expected to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
Compensation
Annual salary range is $168,000–$196,000, with a competitive bonus structure based on performance.
