Responsibilities
- Onboard new hires by instructing them in the use of organizational technology, including software applications, remote connectivity, and phone and voicemail systems.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs and supporting resources such as handouts and practical exercises for existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Collaborate with internal IT training staff to create and update reference manuals and instructional documentation.
- Deliver user-centered training using various formats including live instruction, personalized coaching, demonstrations, webinars, short instructional videos, and online learning modules across all office locations, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Assess current and anticipated training requirements in information technology and propose strategic goals, objectives, and priorities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training content and delivery methods through structured feedback mechanisms.
- Keep detailed records and generate reports related to training activities and outcomes.
- Research, design, build, and manage course outlines, training materials, full user guides, FAQs, digital learning content, class timetables, registration processes, evaluation standards, learning pathways, and attendance tracking using the organization’s learning management system.
- Test, analyze, and suggest hardware and software upgrades or new tools that best support legal and administrative staff workflows.
- Coordinate training logistics, including registration, scheduling, and preparation of training materials.
- Respond to technical support requests from users experiencing issues with hardware, software, network, or other computing systems, documenting resolutions in line with service level standards as directed by leadership.
- Demonstrate consistent professionalism and a strong commitment to client service excellence.
- Stay current with relevant technology products, support policies, and support delivery methodologies.
- Support the planning and execution of special initiatives and projects when requested.
- Develop educational content such as eLearning videos and instructional guides for use by other departments as needed.
- Lead New Hire Orientation sessions for staff across all office locations when required.
Other
- Must be able to travel as necessary to conduct classroom and individual training sessions in the firm’s remote offices.
- Ability to safely lift, move and carry items weighing less than 50 pounds.
