Responsibilities
- Implement an appropriately scaled Agile Systems Engineering methodology aligned with the Systems Engineering Management Plan to advance the Omen Capability rapidly and effectively.
- Assist design teams in refining and tracking Technical Performance Measures as designs progress through development stages.
- Participate in System Design Reviews and engineering review boards including Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Safety Review Boards on behalf of systems engineering.
- Maintain and manage Functional Decomposition models, System Breakdown Structure, Product Breakdown Structure, and architectural diagrams.
- Produce core systems engineering documentation such as System Description Documents and Interface Control Documents.
- Advocate for and apply the Test and Evaluation Master Plan to guide system development and maturity.
- Influence the design of Hardware In Lab and Hardware In The Loop integration environments and contribute to surrogate test strategies.
- Design workflows in issue tracking systems and manage triage, task assignment, documentation, and resolution of engineering issues.
- Define and coordinate configuration control and change management procedures for system components.
- Contribute to systems safety analysis and airworthiness compliance activities.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the Omen System Verification Plan.
- Support prototype and production-representative system testing across build, ground, and flight phases, including Physical Configuration Audits and verification execution.
