Snowflake is looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to solve our customers' most complex problems and drive the closure of large strategic deals. In this role, you will partner directly with the sales team and channel partners to deeply understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, and articulate the value of our platform.
What You'll Do
- Present Snowflake's technology and vision to both executive and technical audiences at prospects and customers.
- Work hands-on to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proof of concept to design and implementation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving data landscape, including competitive and complementary technologies, to effectively position Snowflake.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing materials.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, from whiteboarding to formal presentations and demos.
- Ability to engage with and own senior C-suite relationships.
- Broad experience within large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to connect a customer's specific business problems to Snowflake's solutions.
- Ability to conduct deep discovery of a customer's architectural framework and map it to Snowflake's Data Architecture.
Nice to Have
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A Master's in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience working with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs like EY, Deloitte, Accenture) would be beneficial.
