Join Jobgether as a Senior Software Engineer focused on advanced Windows identity and security features. You will be integral to the full development lifecycle, from design to debugging, solving complex problems in user and kernel space for software deployed at a global scale.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain kernel and user-space Windows software related to identity and endpoint protection.
- Solve complex low-level Windows programming challenges, including debugging and resolving critical issues across multiple OS versions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative features, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Participate actively in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and product design discussions.
- Work with virtual machines and endpoint applications deployed at scale across workstations and servers.
- Partner with quality assurance teams to validate feature performance and stability.
- Continuously expand expertise in Windows OS internals and low-level programming to support innovative solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in low-level Windows software development.
- Deep expertise in Windows OS design and internals, including client and server editions.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience with Windows kernel and user-space development, debugging, and profiling tools.
- Familiarity with Win32 API sets for Windows Base Kernel, Security, Active Directory, and Networking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different time zones.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply complex concepts quickly.
- Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle, from design to production deployment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the role supporting federal government requirements.
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern C++ (C++17/20) considered a plus.
- Understanding of security aspects of Windows is highly desirable.
