Societe Generale seeks a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in manual testing and API validation tools. In this role, you will apply rigorous testing practices within Agile development cycles, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
What You'll Do
- Write quality test cases and scenarios.
- Perform API testing using Postman or Bruno.
- Work within Agile project development environments.
- Apply best practices for manual testing concepts.
- Generate KPIs for manual and automation tests.
- Manage the entire defect lifecycle.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders and team leads.
- Use test management tools like Azure VSTS, Zephyr Scale, or X-Ray.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience writing quality test cases and scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or Bruno.
- Proven experience working in Agile project environments.
- Knowledge of best practices for manual testing concepts.
- Experience generating KPIs for both manual and automation testing.
- Knowledge of the defect lifecycle.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team leads.
- Experience using test management tools such as Azure VSTS, Zephyr Scale, or X-Ray.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Playwright with C# or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of best practices for automation testing.
