At Jobgether, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Golang to play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our high-performance, secure, and globally scalable systems deployed on AWS. You will collaborate closely with a talented team to deliver fault-tolerant microservices and cloud-native solutions that safeguard complex ecosystems.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant microservices on AWS using Golang and related technologies.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and DevOps, to align technical execution with business goals.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and performance across distributed systems.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) to design efficient and consistent data models.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and team mentorship to foster engineering excellence.
- Implement observability best practices through logs, metrics, and tracing to monitor system health and uptime.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with proven expertise in Golang, and proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, Fargate, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in working with Git-based workflows and modern agile development environments.
- Solid understanding of database management across both relational and NoSQL systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with React or Angular frameworks.
- Strong grasp of observability and monitoring tools for production environments.
