What You'll Do
- Drive development of existing software and contribute to new software by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Develop fast, secure, and reliable software to meet defined requirements.
- Monitor, identify, and correct complex software defects to maintain fully functioning software.
- Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products and services.
- Research and suggest ways to optimize solutions to better meet user and business performance and quality needs.
- Drive a maintenance roadmap to facilitate software development and ensure work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
- Find root causes and resolutions to limit and address issues promptly.
- Assign short-term work schedules to a team based on storyboarding and backlog to meet established timelines.
- Develop your own and more junior team members' capabilities through assessment, development planning, training, and coaching.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
- Contribute to work within an established program management plan to achieve specific goals.
- Guide and deliver the design distribution of basic database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to tune database solutions for optimum performance.
- Support the collection of functional requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Over 3 to 6 years of general software engineering experience.
- Basic experience (4 to 6 months) coordinating the work of others.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
