Side is seeking a Freelance LQA Game Tester (Thai) to be the first to see localized games in their entirety, ensuring they are free from grammatical errors and cultural inconsistencies. You will work within a multilingual project team on top gaming titles for leading publishers.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a global project team.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in Thai.
- Conversational English.
- Strong cultural understanding of Thai.
- Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Candidate must be located within Europe.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
