Tala is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core software systems.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software
Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements
Lead technical design discussions and mentor other engineers
Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software development experience
Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable systems
Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Go)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
