Design and manage scalable infrastructure across multiple datacenters and hybrid cloud environments. Focus on system reliability, automation, and operational excellence through infrastructure as code, monitoring improvements, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver robust, cost-efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and support infrastructure spanning expanding datacenters and hybrid cloud environments.
- Evaluate physical and network designs for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Enhance system observability, incident response, and disaster recovery processes, including migration to Datadog.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Ensure the stability and availability of shared AWS resources through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to align technical projects with core business goals.
- Drive key service management improvements that influence broader engineering standards and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years in operations, engineering, or SRE roles with experience in multi-datacenter environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, networking, and operational best practices.
- Proven experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
- Solid scripting ability in Python and Bash for automation and tool development.
- Independent and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and systems thinking skills.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member who works well across technical and functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
- Hands-on involvement in setting up and operating physical datacenters.
- Willingness to travel 1–2 times per quarter to support infrastructure deployments.

Compensation
