Computacenter is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to design and build high-quality ServiceNow solutions, providing technical advice and best practice guidance. You will play a key role in delivering implementations based on business requirements, offering technical leadership, and mentoring junior colleagues.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality ServiceNow implementations based on business process requirements.
- Provide advice and guidance on ServiceNow implementation and technical best practice.
- Ensure adherence to coding and design standards and provide technical hand-over documentation.
- Increase application operating efficiency and adapt to new requirements.
- Assist with system testing and UAT.
- Attend and present at customer meetings to understand requirements and assist with knowledge transfer.
- Record, qualify and question customer requirements, even in complex projects.
- Work collaboratively across all ServiceNow Centre of Excellence teams.
- Provide technical design authority and mentor more junior team members.
- Act as technical lead for medium-scale solutions ensuring designs meet customer requirements.
- Act as a role model for colleagues providing guidance around technical and behavioural competencies.
What We're Looking For
- Must hold current UK SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undertake.
- Proven ServiceNow implementation experience, with expertise in at least one of: SPM, ITSM, GRC, IRM or HRSD.
- Over 5 years of experience in similar roles within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Proven expertise in multiple areas of the ServiceNow platform, including functionality, database structure, developer APIs, and development tools.
- Proficient in Web Technologies (e.g., JavaScript, SOAP/REST web services, XML & JSON).
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle in Agile and Waterfall projects.
- Self-managing and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Skilled in managing customer expectations.
- Ability to contribute to technical solution designs and provide input into bid, project, and technical documents.
