Responsibilities
- Design and configure ServiceNow applications using platform features like forms, tables, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
- Develop and maintain server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Build and manage automation workflows using Flow Designer, legacy workflows, and other process automation tools.
- Create and extend scoped applications in alignment with ServiceNow best practices.
- Evaluate how various information systems can be integrated effectively.
- Design and implement system integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and external data sources.
- Set up and manage import sets and transform maps for data import and synchronization.
- Maintain data accuracy, system performance, and security across connected platforms.
- Customize ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, Talent Acquisition, Training Delivery, CMDB, and enterprise workflows.
- Tailor service catalogs, record producers, and fulfillment processes to meet business needs.
- Enhance the user interface using UI Actions, UI Pages, UI Macros, and Service Portal components.
- Support development and improvements in Service Portal and Employee Center experiences.
- Ensure interfaces meet usability, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Follow ServiceNow development standards, including upgrade-safe practices and scoped application design.
- Take part in code and peer reviews and support platform governance initiatives.
- Implement role-based access controls and adhere to security compliance requirements.
- Conduct unit and system testing and assist in user acceptance testing phases.
- Manage releases across development, testing, and production environments using update sets or CI/CD pipelines.
- Diagnose and resolve platform defects, issues, and performance challenges.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation including design specs and configuration records.
- Work closely with analysts, architects, administrators, and stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Offer technical mentorship and guidance to less experienced developers or administrators.
