Syngene is hiring a Senior Scientist

Syngene is looking for a Senior Scientist to join the Compound Management Group within our Discovery Biology department. In this onsite role at our Hyderabad location, you will be central to managing small molecules and supporting research workflows.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to compound management activities, including the preparation of DMSO stock solutions and generation of assay-ready plates.
• Weigh samples, prepare liquid stock, and manage compound inventory.
• Coordinate with various internal clients for the distribution and handling of compound requests.
• Document all data meticulously as per specific project requirements.
• Conduct additional tasks assigned by your manager to meet team goals.
• Follow all environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
• Attend company-imparted training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures.

What We're Looking For

• An M.Sc, B.Pharm, or B.Tech educational qualification.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in industry or a CRO environment.
• Hands-on experience with routine work in a research laboratory.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• A quality-focused approach and strong time management abilities.
• A proven track record as a good team player.

Nice to Have

• A good understanding of Excel.
• Basic understanding of automation for running assays.
