About the Role
This role involves providing expert-level support for SAP Ariba solutions and procurement processes, resolving technical issues, guiding clients through system challenges, and ensuring smooth operations through proactive maintenance and user assistance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced technical support for SAP Ariba modules and integrations
- Analyze and resolve complex system issues reported by clients or internal teams
- Provide guidance on procurement workflows and system configurations
- Collaborate with development and functional teams to troubleshoot defects
- Document root causes and implement corrective actions for recurring problems
- Support user training and onboarding for new Ariba implementations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Ariba updates and enhancements
- Assist in testing patches, upgrades, and new feature rollouts
- Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and system needs
- Produce detailed reports on support ticket trends and resolution times
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and system governance standards
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate technical teams with full context
- Participate in post-incident reviews and system performance evaluations
- Optimize system performance through configuration adjustments
- Support integration between Ariba and back-end ERP systems
- Provide input into service improvement initiatives based on user feedback
- Assist in the creation of knowledge base articles and support documentation
- Respond to urgent production issues within defined SLAs
- Coordinate with third-party vendors when external dependencies are involved
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities and resolutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP Ariba Network and supplier enablement
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its procurement components
- Exposure to agile methodologies in support or implementation projects
- Background in consulting or client-facing technical roles
- Knowledge of data migration and cleansing techniques
