About the Role
Provide remote occupational therapy services to clients, using Spanish and English to assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions that enhance daily living skills and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual occupational therapy sessions to clients with varying needs
- Conduct assessments in both Spanish and English to determine client abilities
- Develop customized treatment plans based on client evaluations
- Monitor and document client progress consistently
- Collaborate with caregivers and family members to support therapy goals
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards
- Use telehealth platforms effectively for therapy delivery
- Adapt therapeutic techniques for online environments
- Maintain accurate and timely client records
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Provide education to clients and families about therapeutic strategies
- Recommend home modifications and adaptive tools when needed
- Support clients across different age groups and conditions
- Coordinate with referral sources and healthcare providers
- Follow ethical and professional standards in remote practice
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Manage scheduling and session logistics independently
- Ensure cultural sensitivity in all client interactions
- Maintain licensure and certification requirements
